The AVSC is the largest school-based sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting teams from across Australia, plus international teams. This event has seen tremendous growth since its inception and in 2018 saw 551 teams from 150 schools from across Australia and New Zealand. This unique event has delivered almost all of the national players (beach and indoor) for the last 3 decades and will continue to see the next generation of national, international and potentially Olympic athletes.

The AVSC is the marquee junior participation event in the national events portfolio, bringing together hundreds of secondary school teams annually in December, enjoying an introduction to volleyball, camaraderie and enthusiastic competition amongst the nation’s school community. In 2020, the event will deliver a range of exciting new facilities, technology enhancements and contemporary educational opportunities that are unique to the region.

In 2019, we looked after 1350 players and staff who headed to the Gold Coast for the first time and this year, we already have more teams looking to travel with us. We can provide full travel options, whether it is for 1 team or 20+ teams to make this easy for you.
