The FIBA Basketball World Cup will take place across 3 host countries in August & September 2023. Indonesia and Japan will each host Group Phases and the Philippines will host both Group Phases and the Final Phase. Jakarta (Indonesia), Okinawa (Japan) and Manila (Philippines), will be the hosts for the 32 competing teams.

The Australian Boomers will be looking to improve on their 4th place finish in 2019, while Spain will be defending their title after a win over Argentina in 2019. The USA will also be looking to recover their place at the top of the world having won the event 5 times.
